Contra Costa County

Launched in 2022

YWFC Contra Costa County is our newest location, building power and leadership with young women and trans youth of all genders in CCC. Through youth participatory research we are developing our first campaigns to address key issues impacting young people.

For the next few years, we will work to change the narrative around system-impacted young people and continue to strengthen our partnerships in the community and with system players and community-based organizations. Our alternative to incarceration programming include mentorship, training, and employment.

“There will always be bumps in the road. You either run over the bumps or let the bumps run over you.”
– Tumani Drew (she/they), Lead Organizer, YWFC CCC
