Jade Hudson is an East Oakland native with a degree in Marketing Communications, passionate about bringing the stories of system-impacted youth to life. Through creative storytelling, she highlights the deeper meaning behind each experience and challenges the narratives often placed on underserved communities.
Jade has been active in her community since the age of 16, when she began exploring the intersectional factors that shape how people experience life in marginalized communities. She has since built her career around amplifying the leadership, power, and impact of young Black girls and women while actively challenging harmful stereotypes and societal norms.
Jade’s journey with Young Women’s Freedom Center began as a participant at 19 years old. Today, she serves as YWFC’s Social Media Manager, a full-circle moment that reflects both her growth and commitment to the work.
Her work has been featured on KTVU News and in Forbes. In addition to her role at YWFC, Jade is also an entrepreneur and content creator, continuing to build platforms that center community, creativity, and impact.
