Victoria Gomez was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She embraces her Chicanx roots and comes from a family of warriors and resilient women. As a young, Brown woman, she is learning to break cycles of generational trauma and make the right choices to live a healthy life. Victoria is now focused on actively healing herself from within and the communities of LA that she loves.
In 2019, She received her Bachelor’s in Sociology and Politics from UC Santa Cruz. She is a grassroots organizer at heart, a survivor advocate, a creative designer, and photographer. Her passion is to create safe spaces for youth, especially youth of color, to express who they are, their needs, and their ambitions. She combines her unique skill set to support and lead radical, transformative justice work at the Young Women’s Freedom Center and in her community.
