Peaches Robledo is a Mexican and Puerto Rican trans woman from San Jose California. Raised by a single mother while her father was incarcerated, she grew up deeply rooted in community but rarely saw leaders who looked like her. As a young person navigating the underground street economy, she found support at the Center, where she started attending groups and later grew into roles as an intern, fellow, and now Programs Manager. Peaches is committed to showing girls and gender expansive youth that they belong in leadership and decision making spaces. She believes that while we may not choose where we come from, we get to choose where we are going.
