Jadalyn Yin, born and raised in Oakland, California, is a mother of two sons. As a system-impacted individual with experience in the underground street economy, she brings a unique perspective to her advocacy work.
Growing up with a father who was formerly incarcerated, Jadalyn is deeply committed to teaching her boys how to navigate life with intelligence and integrity as Black and Brown men in today’s society. Jadalyn’s mission is to end generational trauma and advocate for youth through policy and active engagement with the system & community she was raised.
