Dominique is a formerly incarcerated peer advocate who has dedicated the last 5 years of their personal and professional development to organizing with local justice policies, conducting outreach, and facilitating groups throughout Los Angeles County. She has worked with many grassroots organizations aiming to inform and empower community members, service partners, and national policy in topics ranging from trauma-informed care to addressing homelessness and harm reduction within the Los Angeles area.
Professionally she has dedicated the last several years to case management for clients with high needs, focusing on those experiencing crisis, incarceration, and trauma throughout the city and county of Los Angeles. Her passion for creating change and addressing inconsistencies in social services has driven her to pursue her Peer Support Certification through CalMHSA, completing multiple opportunities and internships focusing on social change, and continuing her education at ELAC as an Addiction Studies Specialist.
