Cinthya “Cin” Barron-Broussard is an Afro-Mexicana, queer, Oakland-based artist, facilitator, and community advocate. She is deeply passionate about youth advocacy, creative healing, and reconnecting to ancestral practices to foster communal well-being and resilience. While working in the Bay Area, Cin has gained clarity on her vision for work that centers wellness, recognizing how it remains inaccessible for many communities of color navigating systems of violence and oppression.
Cin is dedicated to empowering youth voices through artistic healing and advocacy, emphasizing collaboration and the courage to fight for one’s beliefs. As an educator, mentor, and ally, she advocates for the most impacted to lead the way toward a liberated world for all. Cin also envisions expanding her work and that of her center on a national scale, with initiatives like campaigns, youth retreats, and holistic wellness programs.
