Over the course of her career, Julie has assisted multiple California jurisdictions to significantly improve their systems and services for justice-involved women and girls. Before serving as the Evidence Based Practices Program Manager for the Santa Clara County Probation Department, Julie was the Director of Girls Services for the San Francisco Juvenile Probation Department and a Victim Advocate with the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. She has received numerous awards for her advocacy work and has been an ally of the Young Women’s Freedom Center for over twenty years.
